I don’t see Buffalo going for that. If they’re trading Samuelsson it’s to get a piece they can use right now.

Devils Decline nice overpay for a 4th line. Plus he is an RFA or whatever not worth it. Devils dont need depth forwards, they need a #2 Center who can play wing at times cuz Jack is awful at faceoffs. Now if you wanna send over a NHL ready Dman who can defend we will gladly send you that 3rd but not for a healthy scratch dude

Sabres decline imo
Not a bad offer, BUT :
1- we like Samuelsson & aren’t looking to move him
2- trying to win now, so futures would t be of much interest

If we could move Samuelsson for a similar style RD,
then maybe??
