Jarnkrok is not a 4th liner. This is a career player whom averages 15 to 20 goals and shown the ability for more. His is a very good penalty killer and plays a very good 200 foot game. He is on most teams a 3rd line winger whom is capable of playing up based on injuries.

Yes package seems a little high still, but is by far adequately paid, and of not Vancouver, Toronto will only trade him if the package is adequate for them too.

I thought of that, it would all depend on New Yorks off-season plans. The plan is still for Varly to be a backup, and if they feel they can clear his salary to upgrade the offense with younger players they may go for it. As the title say it is more for fun. The package for a backup goalie capable of 1b as seen this year is good, but for the defense of Isles fans, Varly is very useful and a trade like this will need to be accompanied with actual improvements elsewhere.
I don't actually see the trade happening as Roy is a fan of Varly and Varly is on a good contract. That there I heartedly agree.

Definitely agree this is too much for Jarnkrok. But Jarnkrok ain't a 4th liner.
