Carolina and Florida pass, Carolina is in their cup window and they're not trading Martin Necas for futures.

And zero chance in hell of Florida retaining on Spencer Knight Especially for Cayden Primeau who doesn't have much value.

How much do they value knight exactly and where does he fit in with Stolarz having the league's best save %?

Columbus has no cap crunch. They'll just keep him if the only offer is a second and a player who'd be sixth on the depth chart at his position for the Jackets.

Harris for market value is a terrible trade? Interesting viewpoint.

So trading up from late 1st rounder to 5th OA costs a 70 point 25-year-old RFA AND a B prospect? Also, why would Carolina want/need to trade up when they're in Win Now mode with a good pipeline already?

Considering the cap space we still have? Absolutely nothing. Waste of assets to pay to move anyone.

There's room to keep most of the forward group minus Turbo unless he takes a super team friendly deal. Chatfield (if resigned) won't cost too much and can play a top 4 role. Orlov replaces Skjei on the 2nd pair with Chatfield. Morrow is on the bottom pair with more than likely a shutdown left-handed vet UFA. It can be done- Necas only gets moved if he brings back an upgrade on the wing for the top-6.
