  1. Lundell, Anton [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Hawks slot Lundell into future plans as a Middle 6 Center.
Give him a shot at the 2C job next year.
Still have 4 picks in Rounds 1 and 2 and an early 3rd.
FLA
  1. Phillips, Isaak [RFA Rights]
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (CHI)
  3. 2024 3rd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
Thoughts on Payment for Lundell here?
May not be able to resign everyone if they prioritize Reinhart.

Panthers Receive Picks 34 and 73(ish) plus a throw in piece in Isaak Phillips.
2.
CHI
  1. Husso, Ville
  2. 2024 4th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Not sure whether this would be a cap dump or if the Hawks give up a late round pick. Feels like a shot for the Hawks to take a one year flier on a guy if it's a cap dump.

Husso probably a solid LTIR candidate.

Husso is still Detroit's #1 goalie so I seriously doubt they pay to move him. Cossa has been very good this year but he might not be ready until the season after next.

He is healthy now. He was cleared to play on April 8th.

I thought Husso got hurt again?

He was hoping to be healthy by the start of next season?

Given Husso's recent injury history, LTIR is definitely a possibility with him.

The UFA signings are pretty solid. But Duchenne probably ends up as the 2C because that offer isn't getting Lundell. Even if FL is forced to trade him, the return is going to be better than that. No clue on the Husso trade. Detroit fans above say no way, so gotta go along w/ that I guess.

Hawks have zero need for Husso and a late 4th isn't enough to take on that cap.

No you remember he re-injured himself during practice in Grand Rapids.

That pathetic offer isn't getting you Anton Lundell out of Florida, And Florida easily matches the 3x3 offer you're giving him.

Yeah sorry Detroit isn't attaching no 4th round pick to move Ville Husso. And far chance he's waiving for a bottom feeder anyways.

That's why I asked thoughts on the offer. I think they should let Reinhart walk but given the lack of comparable trades for Lundell on the Florida Armchair GM side of things I took a stab at it.
Detroit can keep Husso for all I care, just trying to find a good option for both since he'll probably suck next year again.

Yes Husso will either suck again or not even play.

If all it takes is a 4th to dump him Detroit should do it.

Who are you getting in the 4th round?

A player who will most likely never sniff the NHL? 🙄
