Boqvuist could be had for a mid round pick. Columbus doesn't have the roster space or cap space for Hronek and his next deal since they already committed to Severson and have a ton of their own RFA's to re-sign (and a disgruntled top prospect at that position who needs a roster spot next season). Hronek might be a better fit for the Ducks, who desperately need a top-4 RHD and have the cap space.

Those are two awful trades for the Canucks

Pettersson >>> Brady. Norris can’t stay healthy and has a huge contract, he doesn’t have much value right now

Hronek >>> Boqvist and that’s not even close
