no retention spots + Burroughs, Rutta, and Benning are all RHD signed for next year + Addison / Emberson RFA.

Yeah but if he was good enough to be NHL ready why wouldn't we just play him over Ceci, Kulak or Desharnais right now? Why is Broberg being called up instead of him? I think Oilers Nation is taking a pretty optimistic approach to how good he is, he's a fine bottom pairing guy but he's not top-4 material or he would be in the league already.

Kemp isn't even the best RHD in Bakersfield. That would be Max Wanner.

Ahhh that would be because he didn't play hockey last year obviously.

He played 71 games in 22-23? The year before he played 55? This year he played 64? He's been consistently healthy all three years

Yes, I don't think he'll make the team next season, irrespective of his training camp. Especially if Holland is still around.

Sharks would trade Kostin (with no retention) for Ceci.

We'd even throw in one or more of Benning, Burroughs, Rutta, or Addison.
