Description
1. Would Edmonton consider moving Kane as a cap dump? They have about $10.6 million in cap space and need 5 forwards, a d-man, and a backup goaltender. I tried doing similar value to when Vegas traded Reilly Smith for a 3rd.

2. Who will the Avs trade to clear cap space? I would think Manson or Colton (or both) could get moved. Manson would be a nice add to the bottom pairing, and the Avs would get some picks back.

3. I saw LaCombe moved in a trade that involved swapping first round picks, and the Caps getting Ryan Strome while the Ducks still got TVR and a 2025 2nd. I took out Strome and the first round pick swap. I feel like this value is fair.

4. Miro, Iorio, and Stevenson start the year in the AHL

5. The Caps need to get more physical and need a stronger veteran present to go with the young guys. Kane, Manson, Duhaime all add grit and intensity

Avs will get rid of Girard not Manson. The Caps don't need to get grittyer. They just lack top end skill. They need a rebuild. Go watch Carolina. The Caps have nothing like Aho and Guentzel or even Jarvis and Svetch.

The 2nd is both late and in the future, making it somewhat less appealing. The original idea for the pick swap and Strome suits our interests better.

Manson is staying. Girard is gonna get traded as he has more value.

I won't profess to know who the Avs are going to move in the off season for certain but that's a pretty fair offer for Manson value-wise. Just don't see him being moved as the only physical D the Avs have.

Don’t see COL trading Manson at all. I’m still not convinced Landy is going to be ready.
