I know Cirelli is good defensively, but I wouldn’t want to trade Hronek for a 6.25M 3C who has never put up 50 points. Especially if we do bring back Lindholm it’s just not a need

Not sure how you were looking for cap dump destinations and decided that Detroit was the one...

Wings decline. Itll take a 1st to take that bad contract from VAN. Wings got a 2nd just for taking a 1yr of Marc Staal

Hey Elliotte, can you still find tapes for that VCR? Tampa Bay probably declines. Scoring goals isn't the problem. It's keeping the puck out of their own net. Adding another offensive D man at the expense of maybe their best defensive forward seems like a step in the wrong direction. Plus Hronek's new contract probably eats up cap space the Bolts need to spend elsewhere.

If no Lindholm, then Petey at C and spending money on the wing. I'm not against that but Lindholm's two way game is a big plus for the team and takes pressure on EP and JT on PK and he's good on PP.

I'd rather load up at center and run the lotto line. And if injuries happen, it's not an issue. The forward depth is very concerning right now.

Higher cap hit, NMC, etc. Don't think Miki takes a first but I'm sure teams would put that out there. It's crazy Miki has 30 pts but 1 goal/a few pts since Jan 1.

I guess my thought is that running Perbix, Raddysh, Crozier, De Haan isn't cutting it.

Exactly. It's not. But I really don't see Hronek as a player who makes the blue line better defensively. Tampa has plenty of offense from their blue line. They need another Cernak type player. Perbix was supposed to be that guy but his hockey IQ seems really low. Makes too many poor decisions. Hronek's new contract would be problematic as well. Likely winds up costing more than what Cirelli does, which is cap space Tampa doesn't have.
