Kuznetsov is a very talented player but with the off ice challenges he has experienced I don’t think I would want him anywhere near my young prospects/players, for that reason I think the Hawks decline.

pesce will get more even with the surgery i believe.

Have a hard time seing pavelski leave dallas, they already are cup contender just like the canes.

Even if he was truly past all that stuff and his actions couldn't affect the prospects...which I'm not saying they would... CHI still wouldn't do it. They've had too many issues to take him on regardless of prospects/players.

Hawks will pay much more for Pesce even with surgery.

Gunler isn't an interesting enough prospect for the Hawks to take that last year of Kuzy. Make it a prospect the Hawks might actually want, and make the trade before the draft so the Hawks can then buy Kuzy out, and I think the Hawks would do it.

No chance Jake takes such a huge discount. And pens pass unless canes add a 3rd or 4th round pick . Drury isn’t worth smith half retained lol

Lol that isn’t a huge discount. The dude hasn’t ever hit 90 points and, more importantly, is 30 at the start of the deal. His AAV isn’t going to be 9+ on an 8 year deal

If it weren't for injuries, Jake would had had 3 90 point seasons, including this season where he was on pace for 94 points. He can get $9M easily on the market.

Sure could get 9 million on the market but not on an 8 year deal, big difference. Any team likely able to afford 9+ isn’t good. So the Canes get a slight discount because we’ll be contenders for almost all of the contract

You obviously didn’t see him in the pictures with a white powdery substance in front of him a few years back Now he has just come back from another stint on the players assistance program… ya, nothing to worry about there. Great role model. 😂

Yeah its definitely a big discount. Especially with the contracts nylander and pasta are on. He is a top 5 LW statistically and that isn't even taking into account how clutch he is in the playoffs.
If he didn't sign that deal in Pitt he sure isn't signing it in carolina lmao. Try 9.5 aav by 8 years. Maybe even higher if he doesn't want to take a discount.

Yea, ah, wut? *Looks at the stats for those three* im getting further confused. You’re allowing a personal like for the player to overvalue him.
