Casey may work in a trade…I was thinking about that recently. Flames shed a lot of dmen recently…and Casey likely goes straight into lineup. (And easier to spell then Brzustewicz, Grushnikov, Okhotiuk)

Also I don’t think Schmid would be in return. Both he and Daws are waiver exempt…and both still very young guys who should be developing in AHL. And Calgary has Wolf.

I think they have Casey as Marinos replacement. I think he's worth too much for Markstrom. Fitz has made good enough moves but Yegor and Zets having great success (due to playing time) is sometimes painful, but happy for them. Would suck if Casey came right out and popped.

Unfortunately Hunter might retire if he finds out he’ll be stuck behind Casey for the 3rd time.
