it really didn't matter who got those 2 last spots in the east.
None of the teams were going to do anything more than get swept.

The east, and by east I mean Metro, use to be deep. There use to be a real dog fight. Not any more.

Caps giving up way too much for Robertson. Remove the money retention and make the 2nd like a 3rd. Robertson is a fine middle 6 guy, he's not worth a 2nd pair guy with $2M eaten and a 2nd.

Sens will keep accepting TVR for a 3rd. Would be a very good vet partner for Kleven assuming one of Chych or Chabot are moved in this off season.

just looked into him, pretty impressive numbers for a 21 year old in the KHL!
