Additional Details:
I feel like the Habs are gonna make a big trade at the draft to select Lindstrom. He fits what the Habs are looking for and the Ducks are looking at a D (Levshunov if available). IMO a trade back scenario for the Ducks and trade up for the Habs makes a ton of sense if the draft order is unchanged. The top 2 are set and Columbus isn't taking Levshunov since they are loaded at RD and need a forward. If the Ducks take Levshunov at 3 Columbus absolutely takes Lindstrom at 4, so Habs have to decide on whoever is left and likely take Iginla who is a downgrade and reach at 5th so a trade up is ideal here for the Habs. Everyone knows the Jackets aren't taking a RD so the Ducks could comfortably move back 2 spots pickup another good asset like Mesar, Beck or the Jets 1st and still get Levshunov, so IMO it makes sense for them to make the trade as well.

I would think Anaheim just selects the player that wasn't instead of risk losing them.

Demidov seems like the obvious choice at #2. And that's probably who the Hawks should take. But the one thing missing from the prospect pool in Chicago is a skilled, big body F with top 6 potential. I'd think Lindstrom is at least on Kyle's radar.

I think Celebrini and Demidov are easily 1 & 2 but if Davidson takes Lindstrom then Habs would definitely be trading up for Demidov IMO lol

Got to wait for the lottery, odds are someone will move up or down changing the complexion of the first 5 picks. There are quite a few teams that covet a defenseman so there is a solid chance the Habs could get a player they wanted anyway. I really don't want to give up Beck either. Would rather use draft picks to make up the difference if necessary.

Lindstrom is going to be there at 5-6-7 all likelihood
If this trade isn’t there to select Demidov then it’s moot.
