Tavares and Marner don't waive, but Canes also aren't trading what should be max 8 mil in cap on the Canes for 11 mil and needing a new defenseman.

Toronto fan not really one to talk about depth considering you guys get **** canned year in and year out by teams that know they just have to shut down your core and the rest is cake lol.

Kampf's whopping 19 points would put him T-12th among Detroit forwards this year, BTW. So I guess our ****ty depth beats yours.

probably because they wanted him, that was last year, he has been brutal this playoffs, im sure the canes would still want him, but not for that price. IF they can garuntee an extension, maybe, but in this offer you didn't include that.

He refused to waive during his last season with the islanders, so why would he for Toronto
