Obviously Hayes prolly has the Sens as a team he doesn't want to come to, but I think Hayes fits well in Ottawa

Ummm seriously? I don't even want Chych, and I would still take that and run.

Certainly, the Blues would be interested in Chychrun but you have severely misjudged his trade value. He would go much closer to his value a year ago which was 1st + two 2nds.

Reason I had him with a value this low is because 1. The market at the deadline was a heavy buyers market and i assume that will still be the case in the summer and 2. Chychrun has been giving off the vibes that he doesn't wanna be there in Ottawa and I assume other gms are aware of that and know they can underpay. Look at the return they got for Tarasenko.

Idk about that. Maybe he'd waive to play with family? He and Brady are cousins

I'd actually be down for Hayes on the Sens. Value here is terrible though

The deadline market and the offseason market are two totally different things.

Just curious what do you think a Hayes to Ottawa trade would look like?

Would depend on how much retention they could get. I think his best days are behind him, but I'd probably still give a 2nd to get him at like 2×2. At the right price he could be really useful for a Sens team that is way to inexperienced down the middle.
