I think that offer gets beat by other teams but the real question is how do the Bruins resign him and Marchand the next year

Well bruins will have even more cap in 25/26

Drai gets something like 7-8 yrs 12-13 mill

Marchand is the captain he will do something like Bergeron did and take a team friendly discount, he will want to attempt to win another cup I honestly will bet anyone he takes less then what Pavelski has for Dallas.

Ullmark does not waive. You also have Coyle with a small NTC and Carlo kicks in 6-1.

Sway/Carlo/Lysell/1st for Drai would probably be closer to a fit but Edmonton declines it.

Draistle is likely Mathews or above depending on the years but minimum he's asking is what Mathews got. Marchand cutting his salary in almost half would be a helluva thing to witness, I think he takes a discount, that discount being below 5 million isn't something I would bet on.

But I think they could fit him, would be a squeeze though

McAvoy or don't even bother calling.

None of that stuff has much value to Edmonton.

Marchand will be 38 when his contract is up, you can see his game is already starting to slow down I expect regression in each other next few seasons. Again Pavelski is a perfect example of a vet who wants to win, so if a guy who had spent 4 seasons with a team is willing to take a big pay cut I’m sure a guy who has spent what will be 17 seasons at the time will take one aswell, he’s literally their captain

Sixes and sevens aren't getting you an ace.

Draisaitl is one of the best playoff performers ever. There's no trade for a bunch of mid players that makes Edmonton's chances better.

You already know that, otherwise you wouldn't be trading a bunch of mid players for him.

I’d rather not do this trade, this is just a copy with some adjustments from another users post earlier.

I’ll take my odds of Draisaitl reaching UFA and bruins having more then enough cap to bring him in
