I'd take farabee or frost for some combination of picks or prospects but not interested in risto and not moving Danielson in this kind of deal.

Detroit isn't trading Danielson.

I don’t think Detroit or Flyers should be interested in that trade and I don’t see why Buffalo would be interested in that trade

Points for originality and creativity. Danielson seems like the dealbreaker

I agree 100%! Teams in a similar positions usually don't make good trade partners. Since they are mostly looking for the same things.

Take Danielson out and it's closer, otherwise flyers add konecny, it's that far off

So two cap dumps and Detroit's ~10th best prospect (Buium) for Farabee, Frost (two middle 6 (and potentially top 6) forwards, one of which is a center) and Ristolainen (with retention) is what you consider fair value? I can understand Detroit saying no to Danielson (even if he's not even a consensus top 40 drafted NHL prospect according to some evaluations (https://theathletic.com/5303482/2024/03/04/top-nhl-prospects-2024-matvei-michkov/)), but then they need to offer other prospect(s) and pick(s) with value.

Yeah I go the opposite overboard when the original trade is awful. Detroit wouldn't trade nate for farabee straight up fyi..who cares about some evaluations, maybe watch the guy play and see what he does and what he means to detroits future. The bottom line is, wings pass cause it's a bad trade
