That wouldn't even get Markstrom alone, far less Coleman. The Sens trade is even worse, make that far worse, for them.

As a flames fan they are definitely getting enough. To think Markstrom is worth more than a first is completely ignorant. The deal with the devils was a first but the flames had to retain salary.

Ridiculous, Korpisalo makes 4 mil per year until 2028 Calgary wouldn't take on his contract for that offer even if you removed Markstrom and they traded him elsewhere.

Edit: In addition the deal with the Devils was for a mid 1st (assuming NJ would have either just made the playoffs or just missed them with Markstrom) + Holtz or Mercer + a prospect (rumored to be Casey). A cap dump goalie we have absolutely no use for + late 1st + 4th + not very good RFA defenseman we neither need nor want isn't even in the ballpark.
