Ideal offseason

Created by: rednwhite
Team: 2024-25 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 30, 2024
Published: Apr. 30, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
My ideal offseason includes locking up seider and Raymond for 8 years. Bring back kane, inject some youth into the lineup and find a goalie upgrade over husso. A lot of work to be done but this team could still be a wild card team with a better goalie.

Anaheim a placeholder team for maataa and fabbri. Not sure what the fit is for them but someone will miss in free agency and take their deals.

I love when I see Detroit threads trading with Calgary, and when I open it, it’s for the 34 year old goalie, not the 27 year old RHD.

Can't see detroit paying the premium price for him unfortunately. Markstrom would be the perfect piece to transition us to cossa. Could provide some good mentorship as well.

Yzerman doesn’t pay that kind of price for transition pieces.

He trades 3rd round picks and Cory Conachers lol.

Zero chance Calgary takes that deal and dumping that much salary cap wont be that easy.
