Avs decline that very easily. One thing they don't need is top 6 wings or to add any cap hits, retention or not. They do however need their few remaining draft picks and young ELC players.

Why would COL trade for a winger when they have Rantanen, Landeskog(assuming he is healthy), Nichushkin, Lehkonen, LOC, Wood, they could keep the assets and cap space and just re-sign Trenin. If Landeskog isn’t healthy they keep the assets and just re-sign Drouin. This isn’t well thought out.
