Description
Brind'Amour will be back next year coaching the team, he is the identity of the franchise and directly responsible for both the successful product on the ice and in turn the increase in revenue generated over the past 6 years. Additionally, it was interesting to hear Waddell state with relative certainty that they'd be re-signing Jarvis AND Necas this summer, perhaps dispelling the prior speculation that Necas would be moved. I'd imagine that those two will be key to signing first so they can then figure out their remaining cap breakdown from there.

hes not a righty but Samuelsson? I dont think this will actually happen, but for it to be realistic i think the Sabres would have to send at least one long term commitment the other way.

im obv in the minority but i think KK is worthwhile gamble at 3C. his contract looks a little ugly but with the cap hitting 92+ mil by the summer of 2025, the deal will take up just over 5% of the cap. Thats essentially the going rate for decent 3Cs moving forward. That's before factoring in the Buffalo tax.

Then we should get a decent 3C then and not a bad 4C

he's not a "bad 4C", thats like Eakin territory lol. Had 43 pts last year, good faceoff numbers, good underlying numbers. Id obviously prefer a move with far less risk involved like faksa or Roy, but I'll do a deal like this before giving up assets for Laughton for instance.

He is a dead hole of production despite unbelievable sheltering.

I'd rather have eakin

I think you are severely overrating KK... that contract is going to keep a lot of teams away and he hasn't exactly panned out

No interest whatsoever in KK, aside the playoffs he plays like he’s allergic to contact and has an absurd contract
