Oh yeah obviously I'd be looking at all options to see if I can find a better deal (and McNabb would be perfect).

But just saying in a vaccuum I'd 100% do this

Not terrible for a Marner deal - I’d think they might prefer Borgen over Larsson though since he’s younger and a similar player. & probably Wright over Sale for a more positional need at a prospect. Make the 1st top 5 or 10 protected and I think it’s closer of those changes are made

Wright
Borgen
Tanev (could be Gourde instead)
1st round pick (top 5 protected)

I think Vegas keeps McNabb. But Dumoulin had great analytics this year

Such an overpay for one year of Marner. Makes the Kraken worse in both the short term and long term.
