Value is probably close but I don't see Winnipeg jumping on that unless they are rebuilding (which considering the 2 extensions is unlikely)

If Winnipeg truly is not planning on extending Ehlers I don’t think you’ll have to give up that much. Players with similar production like Skinner and Eberle were traded for much less with 1 year remaining on their deals. I do love the idea of getting Ehlers here though

Take out Jokiharju, as he doesn't fill a need for the Jets and change the 2nd to a first and the Jets take a look, value wise. Kulich as a LW doesn't fill a need either, so it may not work, but at least you'd have decent value.

Kulich has played exclusively center this year

He might work then, provided Jet's scouts see him as a full time C.

Is RHD not arguably the biggest need for the Jets? Especially if Demelo leaves

Yes, but top 4 RHD. A bottom pairing guy looking for a raise doesn't give the Jets anything they need. Bottom pair is easy to fill.

That's probably part of Buffalo's problem. Playing guys above where they should be. Unfortunately Joki is what he is at this point, an average 5/6.

No, he hasn't been a problem at all.
