Nope, Zegras costs Foerster +, not a pending UFA we could get for free.

Still doesn't top the one I saw in the Trade Machine where some Calgary fan offered Markstrom, Mangiapane, and their first for Zegras and our top 5 draft pick, but this one is definitely near the top of worst trade proposals for Zegras

1. You are crazy if you think TK will hit free agency (and Philly would lose him for nothing).
2. You have to give up on Forester. He’s not going anywhere.
3. I like Zegras’ potential, but you guys in Anaheim value him like he’s the next Elias Petterson or Jack Hughes….Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t see it.

If no Foerster, then you guys need to give up on Zegras, he's not moving without an impact piece at a position of need that matches the team timeline.

His first two seasons he put up similar numbers to EP40, he's one of ~12 (forget the exact number, @SpiderSpiderSpider28 help me out here) who did multiple 60+ pt seasons on his ELC since the hard cap era began, and pretty much all the names on that list are superstars, so why do we have any reason to believe he won't be?

Pettersson is one of, if not the best two way centers in the league. Zegras might be the worst defensive forward in the league. Why do you think they’re shopping him instead of their other plethora of forwards? You sound dumb.

They're not shopping him, that's media speculation, many of the names on the list weren't any good defensively their first few years either, they got better at it with time, that's called player development, and he's far from the worst forward defensively in the league, it's clear you don't actually watch him play, you just catch bloopers on YouTube. If anyone here sounds dumb, it's you bud.
