No one here can replace Wifi's 107mph Slapshot , his Grit or his Impact
Not when Adam Engstrom is a Right Defensman in the top League outside North America and for Team Sweden Even
He plays RD cause his Skating is so smooth it makes PK Subban look like he's Jordan Subban (huge difference in skating levels)

You move him back to LD after spending his junior and pro career on RD at all levels really since he was 16
Then you're most likely to have troubles

Xhekaj-Mailloux are the Twin Terrors and a top 10 AHL Pairing in their time together in Laval. The Perfect Pairing and only one we got.
Reinbacher fits Hutsons needs and Barron fits Guhle's needs until Enstrom or Captain Kony comes over trom the KHL.
Dobson isnt needed as Drafting/Developing Defense is like MTL's only Strength the last decade, trading for Defensman makes no sense unless its a Matheson situation.(something for nothing)

Overall i like the build i just think you got carried away with un needed trades
Wifi-Mailloux will be making fans crazy happy in like 9 months maximum
Guhle-Barron havent been lucky enough to play together much as 1 or the other is injured or in another league or they are both playing RD due to too many LD.
Give those 2 real time together and you'll see Size, Speed, Skill and players capable of 22+ minutes a night while contributing on the PP.

Engstrom could jump ahead in the RD rotation

Overall if we kept our bulk youth and just sold the Mathesons, Harris's , Struble's, ext who are going to be UFA's in 1-2 years or arent Waiver Exempt anymore but arent an NHL lock either in our deep system with 4 players in their final years of Waiver Exempt status beside them. We need to move out players and make sure the minutes are there to highlight pending ufa's for max value while also creating space gradually over a season for younger players rather then running them 16 minutes as a standard then 20-22 mins after that like we did Matheson with mixed results

        Guhle-Barron
        Xhekaj-Mailloux
        Hutson-Reinbacher(when ready they'll flip with 2nd pair )
Engstrom or Konyuskov aka Captain Kony the 22 year old KHL stud D who will be joining us around then

Thats before we consider the bond 6'4 AHL Joel Edmudnson equivelant Paquette-Bisson and his chemistry with Reinbacher
We cant forget Houle and our AHL systems been finding us guys like Arber Xhekaj as well as developing us players who actually make the NHL unlike years past .
Some like Perrick Dube leave for other teams but some like Paquette-Bisson stay hoping to continue their growth
MTL on Defense has so many options that acquiring one makes no sense

I'd say Flyers decline, they're not paying 12th ovr to offload any contract right now. Could maybe do this with FLA 1st.

No from Winnipeg. Nothing there fills a need or is worth moving Perfetti for.
