Insert Krebs into the trade, and remove Novikov. 20 year old not outta place in the A, and only body type we have of that style. Drop the add-ons from STL if needed. Retention is nice, but also probably not needed if that helps.

Am of the opinion that STL and BUF are not good trading partners at this time. That said, Buch at $2.9M is very tempting. Could put him on the right side with Tuch and Quinn for a bangin' set of six wingers in the top-nine.

Agreed it’s basically a no cost to Buf if they could swing it. Buch would be a top rental at the deadline and could you imagine the double retention return

And we already have to pay Byram, Quinn & Peterka after next year- we aren’t gonna bring in ANOTHER guy who needs a big contract, we just don’t have the room
