No, Tavares will be 34 making 11 mill, coming off his worst season. Hes a declining, depreciating asset that would be making 11 mill on the Sabres 3rd line, and doesnt offer anything the Sabres are missing, hes not physical and not good defensively and hes clearly not a good leader. The only reason i want him is because his uncle is a Buffalo legend

Almost like they need an intense veteran center who can show them how to play the position at a high level on a consistent basis. And getting that center by giving up a 4th line forward and getting a 1st would be a ridiculously good opportunity

I'd agree Kane would be a good signing, can only comment on the trades posted though and who gets the better end of the deal, this particular example it's Buffalo fleecing the Leafs
