I would def do that Florida trade all day but unfortunately I can't see Florida accepting that. Rest of the team looks good though, and the draft is great.

I actually really like those lines besides Hammer being on the team lol.

Yeah, Hams is unfortunately on the team, again, but at least he doesn't cost as much as he did before, if they brought in Forbert like I have, then Forbs and Hams could mentor Kleven in becoming a really good shutdown defenceman I'd say, it would take some time, but it does take time to learn the dest ways of shutting down good offense systems in the NHL

That's a very good point. Hammer would definitely be a great mentor and he's an awesome locker room guy.

I'm not sure I see much benefit for Boston in making that trade. The pick swap has a slight benefit of letting them pick in the 2nd round a year earlier, but the players coming back are not really needed, and Beecher is playing a valuable role on the team. It doesn't seem worth it.

This is just a trade that happens "IF" Gryz walks as well as Shatty, then they'll get cheaper replacements, basically almost the same skill sets, idk, but I do understand that Beech plays a pivitol role on the 4th line for the bruins

Yeah... It seems to me like we're stuck with the Korps for a while... Just like the Oilers are stuck with some expired chicken noodle soup too... lol

As well as the panthers with those left side defenseman, Forsling is the only real good LHD they've got, I mean Mikkola is a not bad shutdown defenceman but that's it, he can't really drive the puck up ad good as Chych could, imagine this d core
Chychrun Ekblad
Forsling Montour
Mikkola ?OEL?

The panthers would be flying next season.

Bottom line in my opinion is that this trade would benefit both teams and would also be a win win situation on both sides, you aren't getting someone like Jake Sanderson in return for Lundell, especially Sanderson being the next cornerstone for the Senators on the back end when Lundell is a phenomenal middle six player, Chychrun could easily be a top 2 defenseman in my opinion especially with a guy like Ekblad by his side, maybe he'd even bring Mikkola's numbers up if paired with him who knows

Yeah I repeat Lundell isn't going anywhere. Ahhh Lundell us "just a middle six", but Chychrun is a top pairing blah blah blah you sound like a used car salesman trying to convince me I need to get rid of my 6 year old car that's in perfect condition to by a 3 year old one I don't need. They have a couple kids on the left side in Charlotte they like a LOT!!!! So this is a win for Ottawa a push at best for Florida.

if both those guys walk, neither of those d men make the roster for boston, and beecher is a much more valuable piece to them. no thanks.

chych has far more value than guy who struggles to be a 3rd liner.

No im just realistic with the Chychrun trade dude. You expect us to get back Auston Matthews for Chych. Lundell is a 2C for most teams but we have Timmy and Pinner so he’d be an exceptional 3C or he can bump up and play LW and Greig stays as 3C.

Lundel would be a 2c on a rebuilding team not a playoff team, a team that would have Lundell as a 2c is not one that will EVER be a playoff team., he is a 3rd liner.

Maybe you're right man, but in a perfect world I would keep Chych and move Chabot before his M-NTC kicks in.

same, move chabot and keep chych, that is what may well happen, Chabot IMO needs a fresh start, fans pilling on him, he is still a good puck mover and PPQB, teams would trade for him even with his 8M cap hit.
