Kampf has been really solid in the playoffs. Jarnkrok with 5goals in over 90 playoff games is the ghost that the leafs should make disappear.

That Marner trade is well a little light. One year of Theadore at 8.1M cap hit after the retention makes zero sense to the leafs. Leafs never do that.

makes a lot of sense for toronto. they need a big defenceman who plays an elite two way game and can play 23 minutes plus per night with a ton of playoff experience and a cup as well as a true PP QB who can score from the point.

The leafs hands are pretty tied with what they can do trading marner and will probably lose any trade option on paper but a change is needed balancing this roster

Kampf is a good player and I wouldn’t mind having him back on the Hawks. But everyone knows they have Toronto over-a-barrel with their current cap situation, so it would probably take a sweetener to move him. Regardless of where you’re trying to ship him off to, not just the hawks
