I like Joseph a lot better . He’s very good at killing penalties , and bringing speed and 2 way play to the lineup

Fair. I remember seeing you guys wanted to add more vets. Also, I thought the extra year would be a good way for yall to gain extra cap moving forward.

I always thought that M. Joseph would be a nice fit for the Pens. Maybe do something along the lines of M. Joseph, a low-end prospect for Smith, 2.5 mil retained (if needed), and a mid-round pick (4th or 5th) and a low-end prospect.

I like Joseph so much better. A 200 foot playing speedster who's great on the PK, 6 years younger and under contract for an additional year.
And Joseph has played 370 NHL games, it'd be fair to say he IS a veteran presence for our youngsters.
