I think that was one iteration...and he used NTC to block to Kings. But there were subsequent rumors that one of the teams was attempting to pull together three team deal. But I never remember see if the pieces involved were ever disclosed.

And then weeks later, there was a report that when Bruins GM called Devils GM about the Ullmark possibility, Fitzgerald asked for Swayman, and Sweeney told him to pound sand.



I feel like that is close...but we are still guessing.
I just didn't know if there was ever any reports that dived deeper into specific pieces.

To be fair, it sounds like he didn’t want to be traded during the season and I think that has more to do with his family/kids. We will see.

I would assume that it would be a variation of the deal above with Ullmark going to Devils, Toffoli/Gryz to the Kings, and DuBois/Rittich to the Bruins with some combination of picks.

This was a rumor, and the source of the initial rumor said that the team involved was not the Kings. They suspected the team involved was actually Colorado.

Oh, maybe I am mixing up Markstrom and Ullmark.
