Works for the Flames. As long as the scouting staff is much higher on one prospect than the rest of the group.

I don't see your most of your trades trades happening, not because they are bad, just context.

The first with Calgary for instance, Hugues wants to move up, not down. They need another solid top 6 guy so the view there id to pick either Lindstrom, Eiserman or Demidov if he's still available.

Necas trade depending on those that are either Habs or Hurricanes fans will tell you it's an overpay or garbage trade as usual. On the realistic sense, I don't see Carolina trading Necas. They'll have 27M$ to spare and most likely will keep him on board.

Orlov to Philly, Unless Brière can trade a few players during this offseason they are strapped for cap space. They have a projected cap space of 500K$ with 19 signed players. Brière needs to do some magic tricks. If there is movement on their side with the Habs, I would see someone like Barron going there for something or if Philly want to liberate cap space either Johansen (If he can play and is injury isn't problematic which I doubt it is), or Laughton which could be a potential player Habs would want until Lindstom (if they take him 5th overall) is ready for the NHL.

I doubt he'll look to move Konecny since he's their big player. THe good about Philly is that unlike Leafs and other teams out there strapped at the max space, they have little NMC players on their team so he can move most of the team if he wants to.

Armia and Barron, as I said for Barron being potentially a good fit for Philly or elsewhere, these would be most likely trades that make sens for a third, or depending on Armia's play a 2nd for a team going for it at TDL IF Armia is playing well.

Why in the world would we pay the equivalent of 3 1st round picks + for a Drouin type of player?! Habs easily pass while laughing Waddell off the phone.

Carolina declines. Orlov > Matheson, and do not point at his powerplay points and try to tell me otherwise. Orlov was the best defenseman in the league fox xGA this year. That package doesn't get him alone and you want Necas to? No

I like Iginla, but that’s a waste of a top 5 pick if we’re taking him there. There’s no real need to move up
