CBJ has no reason to move Laine at low value rn but IF he does actually want out, we could do a lot worse than Chychrun

Jackets need top end forwards so I think they just hold onto laine even though it’s a fair trade value wise. They already have werenski at LD. Provorov will be traded either in the off-season or most likely at the TDL. I doubt they want to try to flip two LDs at the TDL this year as chychrun wouldn’t be extended with mateychuk most likely getting NHL minutes at some point next season

Id be interested in Norris in a separate deal that doesnt involve saros but as a part of the return for saros i dont really have much interest. His injury history is too much for me to feel comfortable trading one of our best assets for.

Duclair probably takes 3 mil to re-sign in no tax Tampa.

Not to mention that the inclusion of Korpisalo makes this a complete deal killer. I don't want anything to do with that contract.

I don't think we'd ever get Saros in a deal that has Korpi and Norris.

I believe Norris needs to show this season he can stay healthy and still play good in order for anyone to look at his trade value.

Korpi most likely won't be going anywhere unless we retain some salary, but I definitely can't see Nashville swapping out Saros for him.

I can deal with Korpisalo. Yeah he hasnt been great but he is a big Finn and Nashville has alot of experience with that line of goalies. Might be able to work something out of him. Still need a vet goalie whether or not askarov comes up as atleast a backup.
