1.
MIN
  1. Mukhamadullin, Shakir
Additional Details:
If Rossi is dealt it should be for a young NHL ready defenseman, not a forward. We have lots of great forward prospects and not many D prospects. Yes we could address D in the draft coming up but we’re getting to the point where if we don’t start winning, KK97 is gonna ask out. A Dman in this draft won’t be ready for 2-4 years.
SJS
  1. Rossi, Marco
Additional Details:
Gives SJ a 1-2 punch of Celebrini and Rossi down the middle

Love the trades, and you guys have the cap still but Lindholm demands 6 minimum.

Yeah I agree. Lindholm isn’t the end all be all but our beat writer put out an article on the athletic today stating that we’ll liking be looking to add a top 6 forward in FA so I just went with a player I really like.

I'd be lying if I said I thought the Sharks wouldn't consider this. Very interesting offer. It would be hard to just give up on a defenseman that is ready for full-time NHL duty on a team that is desperately needing to develop their defense. And even though Rossi's stock slipped since draft, he looked better last year. Just a bit concerned about his size as well.

So much more fun trade idea than the usual fare.

I agree. I have no idea what is going to happen with all the Rossi talk, much less what player would be coming back but I like the idea of the Wild getting bigger on defense and I also like a 1-2 punch of Celebrini and Rossi down the middle for SJ, that’d be fun to watch.

And bigger is definitely what Grier is pushing for defensively as well. Also keep in mind that a year ago SJ drafted C Will Smith at #4 over all. So the center 1-2 punch is kind of already in the bank. Not to say someone can't move to wing. Yeah, the more I think about it the less I think Grier bites on it.

Nice and clean ACGM. Few moves that make sense and are plausible.

I would add to Camden's comments about the Lindholm signing that he would want term, probably nothing less short of 7M. Maybe he gets stuck with signing a 1-year deal if he's not happy with the offers he's getting since he wanted something like 8Mx7 or 8 from the Flames, and with his stock dropping, he'll get no-where near that. If Minnesota can get him for 6-6.75mx7, I think that would be worth it for them. Another option that might be a bit cheaper is Stephenson but I don't think he has the same offensive upside even if he's a good 2-way C like Lindholm.

The value is good, but Muk is the only defenseman that we have in the pool that has a chance at developing beyond the middle pair (#2 ceiling but that seems to be a minority opinion for scouts). Rossi is great but Sharks have that center depth established now. I would do Thrun or/and Thompson + a high pick but idk how much that helps the wild

I don’t think San Jose can afford to move their best D prospect who is their best by a wide margin. If the organization had more depth there I think it would work

And Thompson as one of a thin RD pool. I think they need to be especially conservative with that position at the moment. Thrun I could see. But the draft pick package the Wild would be wanting for what is pretty close to a long shot is probably going to be steep.

Just took notice of Rossi's size. Wonder if that is problematic in terms of his ceiling as a center ?
