I think were getting close with this deal, not sure if it's enough for Sakic's liking. Having another Bourque on D should bring Lord Stanley back to Denver in no time. Pastrnak and Draisaitl are grinders, a bit high on the salary in my book.

Maybe he just thinks that its better to have an always dangerous olympic goal medalist whos at an all time low than hamonic and 5-20th ovrtall pick and dal colle who hasnt been able to transition to the nhl?

2 years after his draft, tsn re-ranked the draft saying they would take duchene 1st overall over tavares... who knows what will happen in the years to come
