Hronek doesn't sign that, bad trade from Vancouvers pov, your just gifting the canes the younger and better player, while taking on one of the worst contracts in the league.

why would the Canucks trade a potential franchise player with ONE bad playoff performance? the Kok contract is horrible and Hronek makes at least 7 million imo.

The proposal at the deadline was Necas, KK, and an assortment of picks/prospects. Can’t imagine they would all of a sudden include Aho in the mix.

Probably not, but you might be the only non canes homer who does. I think Petey is the better player, whether he is ~$2 million better is where I struggle to evaluate.

I value his playoff performance highly. Every single season he is nearly a ppg in the playoffs.
