Markstroms value is likely higher than that especially with retention, but its close-ish on the low end. I think its probably closer to 1st, 2nd, Mcloud (or maybe Bourgault) and a 3rd

I like Sprong - he’ll probably want more money than you’re offering. Also, Foegelle won’t take a pay cut after his career year - he’ll want 3.5/4 million over 3 or for years.

yeah wasnt sure about foegele, one year at 2.5 seems reasonable because of his playoff performance

he's been pretty decent in the playoffs, couldn't see it taking much to dump him with one year left

Yes a Star like him should get you a haul. if he's so good why have Oiler fan spent the last 2 yrs trying to trade him?

Wonderful great in the playoffs. something SJ has no interest in becuase we wont be a playoff team for a couple of years. Before you say well retain and flip him. We dont have any retention slots

no it just helps his value, of course sj isn't making playoffs. its one year at 3.25 for a pick for a playable d man

Surprise! Bad players labeled as "tough" gets you picks! EDM won 5 playoff series (and counting) in 3 years with him being first (21/22) and second pair (22/23, 23/24). Obviously I'm talking about one pick between 3rd and 5th round...

*I thought you are a Leafs fan. The point still stands tho...

Nope not a Leafs fan at all. dont even live in Canada. Pete Engvall spent 2 yrs being traded to SJ thus my avatar. I may need to change it to Kampf
