Playoffs? I guess the better question would be "Which team from last year will miss the playoff?" The Jets always look better on paper than actually results on the ice.

I could see Calgary or San Jose taking a step back this year, leaving a spot for Winnipeg to sneak in. I think the Jets are 2 years out from being contenders in the west. I really like where that team is headed

Jets are the hardest team to figure out. I think they are right on the precipice of a Wild Card spot or else missing by a few points. That division is the best in the league. Winnipeg figure out your goaltending!!! Mason is not the answer I guarantee it -- to many recycled garbage cans going around the league in net.

Once Comrie is ready, he and Hellebuyck should do fine.

I think Jets will fight for one wild card spot, like they did last season. But I think they have more chance to reach the postseason this year than he had last one.

For the guy who said that this division is the best of the league: no way.

Metro division is the best one by far. And it already was last season. There'll be probably 5 teams from metro in playoffs next season. And 6 of the 8 teams will probably fight for the postseason: Pens, Jackets and Caps are no-brainers. Rangers probably. And maybe Hurricanes, Islanders or even the underdogs Flyers (this one I don't think it'll, but it's not impossible to happen).

No other division has playoffs guarantees and contenders as much as Metro's.
