Description

Forget the CAP implications for the future, likely someone will need to be traded after this deal like Perrault and/or Myers because they won't be able to afford all the RFAs in 2-3 years especially when Laine is due a contract but for the time being, utilize the guys being on ELC's and run one of if not the deepest most dangerous forward core in the league. The top 3 could easily all be a 1st or 2nd Line in the NHL and will be a threat to score every time they're out there. Teams will have a hard time containing the offence and the defense, despite the loss of Trouba is still very deep.

It's just a hot take because of the Pastrnak rumors but wow those lines look deadly. Same with the PP, though I doubt BOS also gives up Carlo in this deal as anyone there thinks he's as good as Trouba.

I think the Trouba ship sailed for Boston with McAvoy and Carlo in the fold. I will say that I think you'll be hard pressed to find any Boston fan that thinks Carlo is better than Trouba. If we're lucky McAvoy becomes a Trouba type impact player.

No way Boston makes that trade. If they're sending both Pastrnak and Carlo, the Jets would have to send a more valuable piece back the other way with Trouba.

Like ON3M4N said above, Bruins don't really need to go after Trouba anymore. I think they will take their chances with McAvoy/Carlo.
