What's Josh Anderson's value to you? I see him listed as a 4th liner and think he's better than that. IF you rate him as a 4th line type middling guy there might be a deal to be made.

Also some top 6 forwards are gonna end up staying in the bottom 6 because of my stacked team.

Credits to Davidbooth7 for getting the assets.
                                            nobody liked this.

Fair enough... but with a C that can help him out in both ends, he can vastly improve and become a 2RW and maybe even a top liner if he progresses rapidly.

Yeah you have an obscure Bruins prospect above him and I'm like silently (LOL) about it. Senyshyn is atleast a year away from touching the NHL ice most likely. He's our most Raw prospect and could amount to nothing if he doesn't refine his game and get more involved defensively. He's a good asset, but having DeBrusk on a line below him is funny to me since DeBrusk has a better chance of hitting the Ice for the big squad this year, given his successful AHL year.

Well yeah aha .. Senyshyn is raw but his potential as a goal scorer is incredible. He will probably make the jump in the next 2-3 years but at the same time you cant discredit his potential as a star. Debrusk might be more NHL readg now, but Senyshyn has arguably the higher ceiling then the two.

Would you consider lending me Matt Beleskey + 2018 1st Boston for Justin Abedelkader good neighbor? I'd be willing to take the risk that is Matt Beleskey given he's on the team I follow, if he sucks and they lose I'm going to lose anyways and be down about it, so that wouldn't be a big burden on me. Abdelkader had a down year, but so did the rest of Detroit. IF you prorated his points he would have been around 30 and Beleskey would have been around 15. I fully expect Abdelkader to hit 40 again and be a leader on their young squad. IF you don't think that's worth a 1st I would understand and maybe one of your many 2nd rounders would get it done for you to upgrade. Abdelkader is only 3.25M since he was previously retained so you'd save about 500K on the transaction.

He has about the same ceiling. DeBrusk has been hurt some but they are both CHL 40 goal guys. DeBrusk is way safer as he'll likely amount to atleast a 3rd liner. Senyshyn may end up a pos pick that everyone knew we reached on at the draft. Don Sweeney has a lot riding on Senyshyn, but I think DeBrusk is clearly the better option. Senyshyn also struggled in the CHL playoffs his last year and DeBrusk put up better AHL playoff numbers which is pretty remarkable. Senyshyn went O'Fer in the AHL playoffs and didn't seem like a good player, so theres just a lot more risk in him and not very much more ceiling if any at all. DeBrusk plays a grittier game so he'll find a way to stick in the NHL, Senyshyn is likely top 6 or bust which should be considered more off-putting and less valued. Again, I'm not talking down your asset as he is also a good prospect and I would like to have him given he's on the team I root for, it's just DeBrusk is way ahead of him right now in terms of development and skill shown on the ice.

I mean to me they are pretty similar in skillset with Abds being the better one. It doesnt make sense for me to do this because of me giving up a high draft pick.

Only reason Debrusk is playing better is because he hss the physical tools in his advantage. In 5, 7, even 10 years, once hes playing in the NHL, he will likely see a regression because he will start relying too much on physicality whereas Senyshyn will likely produce more as he is the smarter hockey player of the 2.

I guess so, I feel like Abdelkader having a bad year is like 30 points whereas Beleskey could shoot somewhere in the teens. Beleskey could also be passed by Bjork, Vatrano, Cehlarik and Heinen, so he might just end up being cut a year from now if he doesn't bounce back. I think Abdelkader's spot is always going to be there for him, but in Boston we have a lot of talent which will rise above Beleskey soon.

Eh. Its going to be a very upsetting trade for everyone. Bjugstad for Crosby (50%).
