Pasta is going to get paid at krejci's expense.

Description
Krejci's contract is going to have to move and I'd like to see a deal happen between the upcoming offseason (2018) and the 2019 offseason. as for Backes I'm not sure if you could move him without retaining salary but we're going to try our best

      I like the Spooner trade honestly. GMJR has recently said that players can learn to PK so I give the thumbs up to you on it!

      Boston is going to have to sit with that Backes contract. Minny probably wouldn't take that.

      As a big bruins fan I am truly worried about the centre position in 4-5 years, this shows why as bergeron will be leaving his prime

      If Krejci's and Backes' contracts aren't inflated now, they will be soon. Sorry these contracts are just untradeable.

      Both Krejci/Backes have NMC till the 2019-2020 off-season when they turn into modified-NTC. At that point they'll have two years left, but towards the end of the career. Unless they find a 2nd gear in their mid-30's, Boston will be seeing those contract till the end unless they retain.

      Backes is only tradeable if you want to give up a massive amount of value in terms of picks. One 4th is not going to cut it. His contract is just really bad (not to mention the NMC).

      Krejci may be in a worse situation by '19. Not looking good unless your willing to trade him for much less value to get out of cap hell.

      I DO like the Spooner move and I think the contract signings for the young guys are reasonable. Just don't give them NMC's please.

      The Jackets can't afford to take on Krejci's contract without retention. We'd be in a decent position next year, but then would be screwed w/r/t retaining any or all of Atkinson, Bjorkstrand, Jenner, Werenski, Bobrovsky, and/or Korpisalo.

      That's understandable, nobody is going to fill the shoes of Bergeron I don't think but you never know. The good thing is they have started to load up prospects to push for that spot. I really like Frederic and JFK. I think Studnicka has some upside but still has a ways to go. Boston is really loading up the prospect pool at every position.
