I deserved that. I just didn't see the players being offered as having a role with the Jets. Paajarvi would compete with 10 other players with similar potential to crack the roster. Thorburn returning would cause riots in the streets.

Paajarvi was to replace(2g 1a on 3rd line). The extra was to make up for UFA to RFA. Thor or chimmy, was a hope and a prayer??. Bennett would cover the gap and Bortuzzo has been real good, would spell poolman if he's not ready for full time duties or take over if Myers got hurt. That's why I'd want a lil more if he's involved

I'm even iffy about giving up that 4th, especially considering that Perreault is hurt (again).

I don't think there is much between Perreault and Miller. Statisticians would successfully argue that Perreault is the better player. The gap between Morrissey and Brodin is significant. I don't see this making my roster any better for this season and adds cap. Certainly long term, you get the better of the deal.

Aight. I like Perreault, but I thought the drop off from Miller to him was comparable to the drop off from Morrissey to Brodin. I think I'll give up on this for now.
