oh sorry I totally forgot to respond earlier. yeah I like Dillon but it obviously depends on the cost. what are you looking to get for him.

A couple mid to late round pick would likely do. 2018 3rd and 2019 4th would interest me prolly

Not only is your D depth decimated, but so is your RW depth. Want Chris Stewart or Tyler Ennis? Both guys will be very cheap.

SORRY again! that's a little too much for me. Preferably the pics would be a little later. I would definitely be willing to include a 2018 5th as I have 2 of them.

Ennis I might use to get a more useful 3rd line winger somewhere; I'll hold off on dealing him unless I can't pull that off.

                      Stewie would cost maybe a 4th + a 7th?

Hartman isn't going to be in the AHL lol. But I too have interest in him. Anyone on my team interest you?

right now that's a little too much just because there are so many options available at the start of the game. I will definitely keep this in mind if a bunch of LHDs get taken off the market.

Simmonds would be available. What could you offer? I'd prefer Hartman or Schmaltz to at least consider it.

what would the other pieces in the deal need to be besides Hartman/Schmaltz (probably Hartman)

Depending on who you decide to go with I'd be looking at either picks or prospects mainly. I also have Filp available cheaper at 50% retained.

I'm interested in reestablishing out talks about Cogliano for Hartman+. I'm interested in making a move of Cogliano and feel like you would be the single best fit to acquire him, due to his consistent play / dependability and his ability to play all 3 forward positions. I think he'd be the type of guy Chicago would acquire in real life to give them that little boost to win another Cup. It could be the type of deal they make at the deadline in real life because Anaheim has some injuries like Kessler, Vatanen and Lindholm already scheduled to miss atleast a month of play. That could mean they are out of the playoff race in real life and look to move Cogliano. I think it's realistic that Chicago would feel he's the type of guy they'd pay to bring in at the deadline because the GM knows that failing to get out of the 1st round of the playoffs simply isn't good enough. Let me know if you also see things this way and want to see what we each would like to make this a useful deal to both parties.

I'd do Cogliano + Correy Tropp (Replacement 4th RW type) for Ryan Hartman + Debrincat / Dauphin / Hinostroza / Hayden / 3rd 2018 Chi / 2019 2nd Chi (any of these assets being the + would be fine with me. If it was Debrincat, I would swap in Logan Shaw for Tropp, as he's better. I'd probably be open to trading my 6th 2018 Ana in the deal as well if it was needed to give an extra dart to throw at the board.)

I agree that trading for Cogliano would be a very good move for chicago. Of the guys you mentioned, I would do Hartman + Hinostroza as the pieces from my end but I think I would want a little more for them. I value those prospects very highly because I am low on good young talent and they are more valuable to me than to someone with tons of prospects.

So you'd want more than Cogliano + Shaw + 6th 2018 Ana for Hartman + Hinostroza? Exactly how much more, is more? I think that deal is about right as Cogs is better than Hartman and than Shaw is a solid NHLer to replace Hinostroza, the pick might not matter, but it's also in there and good players have been acquired that late before, like Palat. I don't know how much more I could do on top of that. It's 2 NHLers for 2 NHLers and I'm losing the best piece in the deal (Cogliano).

Cogliano + Shaw + 6th for Hartman + Hinstroza What tweak has to happen to make this deal work for you? Please look at my roster (Anaheim) and tell me what you need in place of one of those pieces. I will then see if I can do that or come back with a different offer.

At this point, I really want to keep my top prospects. I don't want to trade Hartman. It would take a much higher pick than a 6th. Sorry. Cogliano is a rental and Harman is a young player who can contribute for years to come, and personally I'm not a big fan of cogliano anyways.
