    Nashville has no incentive to do this. They don't need to add another defensemen. They are one of the few teams that have a surplus of defensemen. If anything, they would trade away a defensemen, not receive one IMO. If a deal like the Ducks one (maybe the pick is different), if not that exact trade, could happen in the near future. The WPG deal would be nice too.

    No shit. If you saw the description for the one in part 1 (the one I did before this one but it had Big Buff in it instead of Niskanen) you would understand that this was a hypothetical scenario that saw the Pens not doing the Neal-Hornqvist trade and drafting Forsberg instead of Pouliot.

    Do you honestly think the roster was stronger the way Rutherford had it (on paper) than it is now?

    Our bottom 6 currently consists of Bonino, Fehr, Cullen, Plotnikov, Rust, and Wilson, which is a far cry from the Sill/Adams/Goc laden roster that Shero gave us.

    Not to mention that our we are down two fowards due to injury.

    Rutherford isn't the problem. The team isn't playing to their potential.
