Description
Assuming there are no massive surprises early in the draft, here's my wish list if I'm Jim Nill.

Definitely a proponent of taking value over need, but with a lot of these guys grouped into the same tier, you can be a little more picky on who you focus on.

You deserve a like for your hard work that didn't pay off lol
I definitely like this list though. I would love to see McTavish fall to the stars.

Lol, appreciate it! I may go back through and try it again (depending on how slow work is). Six months ago, I had McTavish to Dallas a sure thing, but with how he's done in 2021 I would be shocked if he wasn't a top-10 pick at this point.

Also big on MacTavish but he’s looking like a top 10 guy on a lot of lists. But who knows, there’s always weird picks that some scouts really liked over the obvious picks.

I like all the players on this list. I just don’t know if at 14 it’s a bit early to draft Aatu Raty he’s looking like a later pick. He’d be a good pick in the second or third if he falls that far. Also not sold on Chibrikov as a first yeah he could be an elite player but he could be the next Nichuskin or Gurianov who were both a bit too early reaches when Nill drafted them and I do think there’s the issue of language barrier with Russian prospects (that the other Europeans don’t have since they learn English at younger ages for the most part) when coaches are trying to convey what they mean.
