Note: Reports prior to Sept 2023 were originally graded out of ten, and also included additional categories that have been merged into the current categories.
This likely results in the overall ratings prior to 2023 being decreased in comparison to reports since Sept 2023.

For an `Apples to Apples` comparison between players, we recommend only comparing reports before, or after, Sept 2023.
Results will average out accordingly as more data is accumulated.

Before leaving for Team Canada training camp - and the WJC - Rehkopf was enjoying a break out season at the OHL level. He had scored 31G-24A in 31GP The Seattle Kraken second round pick (50th) in 2023 ... Rehkopf can be a threat off the rush. He handles the puck very well and uses his reach to shield pucks from opponents. When he has the play on his stick in high danger areas he has a quick/accurate release. His three-zone effort - especially off the puck - has improved immensely this season. For his stature he's not overly physical, but his range allows him to corral pucks and create turnovers.Dec. 19, 2023Dec. 22, 2023

Played a ton of hockey in 22/23 - including Hlinka Gretzky / WJC / U18 Worlds Body of work wins out. Too good to play at the junior level in Czechia / not quite ready to play to his full identity at the Elite league level. Great stick. Excellent on the power-play. Makes plays forehand/backhand from the flank. Dangerous in tight/quick release. More strength in time - combined with skill set - has potential to result in top line NHL forward. Recognizing he has gone through a ton of adversity this season - and had his share of ups and downs - his game at the OHL level has been uneven overall. There are nights he plays a quick - fast - offensive game. There are also nights he isn't starting on time and takes several shifts to get into the game. His defensive detail is below standard for his ability. Far too often he is following the play instead of stopping on pucks and engaging his check.
