Yeah, but Reimer is old and has only like 2 years of good goaltending left after this season. Keep Hill, let him develop, and watch him grow. Plus what are the chances that 3rd or 4th become an NHL player?

Not enough. Sharks don’t need Barrie + pick needs to be a 2nd at minimum.
Edit: Also can’t be a pick in 2024, 2023 is preferable.

Should move Reimer, he’ll get us a 2nd minimum regardless. Keep Hill

Move Reimer! Higher value and he’s older. Keep Hill and let them grow. We’ve had him for one season where he’s had to play through injuries. We’re not Canadian fans, stop being so reactionary.

Lundkvist & 2nd in 23’ for Reimer & 1st in 22’. Maybe just a 22’ 1st swap. Just thinking of ideas to balance it. Just adding a 3rd or 4th or low prospect isn’t going to do it</div></div>
1st are off limits for now. I’d value Reimer with the 1 mil retention at about a 2nd and 4th. Maybe:
Lundkvist for Reimer 1mil retained, and both ‘23 2nds?

I mean, he’s a black hole defensively, but he’s put up 40 points in 62 games behind a poor offense. Moving him to a better system with a better offense would really help him to keep steady. At only 5mil, I’m sure you could get positive value.

Or keep Dahlen, he’s good. It’s Boughners system that keeps suppressing him (just like Merkley). Fire the coach before you get rid of young talent.

Idk man, it would be kinda tempting, but at 3rd overall and the pick most likely being Simon Nemec; the Rags are already stacked at RHS RD. If it was the 1st overall and Shane Wright, that would be a different story.

Vlasic - Holl

Really don’t need another excuse of a Dman to take up a spot for Merkley.

Not really. Middelton is worth around a 2nd and Riemer is worth a 2nd. Together its a late 1st + a 3rd for 1mil in retention for 2 years. Any cap going back to SJ would require more value coming with it.
