You can tell in their interviews after they get eliminated in the playoffs they are never sweating and if you look at their faces they look like they don't even care. Especially Thornton and Marleau. I wasn't going to pull a no cup comment and still won't.
Funny story, I used to live in Northern California and once in a blue moon we'd get to watch the Kings play in San Jose and every time the fans were arrogant assholes, very rude and **** talking. That was before the Kings won the cup in 12 and 14. Then I went to a game in 16 after not going for like 6 years and they were ALL quiet. We even tried egging them on, but they had nothing to say.</div></div>
This is dumb

Except look at the defense in front him compared to the Sharks. Burns and Karlsson are horrible defensively, Dillon is okay, and Vlassic is good lol. Might be worth the risk considering we all know how far Jones can take a team when he's at his best.

Most annoying traded players 4
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bill_Karsen</b></div><div>I agree Kase can be good, or will be good but His numbers are pretty below average. Granted on mostly bad teams but they are what they are, bad. He can still have a breakout year and build on it from there but that’s not guaranteed.
All the trade proposals are picked at random. Braun in his prime for Kase might have made some sense but Braun now isn’t worth much. Brauns numbers in SJ were inflated by the expert defense of Vlasic. Kase is worth more than Braun but I personally wouldn’t give more than a 2nd round pick and a B prospect for Kase. I see him as a Kevin Labanc lite.</div></div>
I think a 2nd + B prospect is fair value for Kase. I just don't think it makes sense to move him for that. Most proposed deals for Kase fall into the same category. Is it fair value? Yeah, probably. Is it worth doing? Nah, definitely not. Like I said, Kase is moveable, but the deal has to make sense. For me personally, I'd consider moving him for a young D-man with high upside that is struggling to put it all together i.e. another Guhle type. I don't think much else makes sense.

Most annoying traded players 4
He's absolutely overhyped by ANA fans, just like Manson is. The problem with Kase is that when he's on he's super dynamic and can score on his own. The problem is that he's inconsistent and CONSTANTLY injured. I guess the fear is that he ends up going to a contender and blowing up. He's only just entering his prime years and could be an extremely fruitful 2nd line winger, even if he misses 20 games a season due to injury.
In terms of us rejecting the offers on here, most have been pretty terrible or include some of our coveted prospects i.e. Steel, Terry, Comtois. Kase is absolutely moveable, but not for some 1 season wonder or ageing players. I will assume that your proposal of Braun for Kase is just to have this conversation. If not and its a serious offer, then you've only gone and demonstrated why we are rejecting the offers on here. A 32 year old D-man well past his prime does nothing for a team that is mid-rebuild and likely won't be a contender for the next 2-3 seasons.

Pittsburgh Penguins signed Stefan Noesen (1 Year / $700,000 AAV)
Noesen scored the GWG in game 3 of the 1st round vs. the Lightning in 2018. The gaol was a one-timer from the left circle on a pass from Taylor Hall off the rush. Probably the highlight of Noesen's career.

Kane has one fewer point than your top scorer and more goals than anyone on the islanders. We have six guys with at least 20 points, your team has four. Did you bother looking up stats or do you just pull your banality arbitrarily out of your asshole when you are bored?

Hey Eli
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Yojimbo</b></div><div>The sad this is that that is actually not that far off. However, you need to account for cap. Maybe retention on Ovechkin and throw a bad contract back to the Caps for "balance". You also need to just find some obscure "advanced" stat that PROVES how the Caps are actually winning this deal. That is easier than it sounds because you simply ignore 100% of everything else other than that one "advanced" stat. And when you counter any responses... only bring up players that are not even part of the trade.</div></div>
I think he was **** posting a **** poster.

tweaks at RD with SJ and WSH
Wtf...SJ playoffs or not would have to be mentally unstable to trade their best forward prospect and their top scorer with the Barracuda for freaking Ceci.. and your thought was Ceci would “get Karlsson going”. Ceci is an RHD, Karlsson is an RHD. Did you consider that? I’ve seen you make trades for the Sharks many times and as Bill said, they always make the Sharks much worse...do you have something against Sharks fans? Some weird vendetta? Or just really clueless and bored.

Blake is gonna move some guys, absolutely. I think Hutton, LaDue, Ryan, Forbort, Lewis for sure. Maybe Clifford, Campbell, Martinez, Toffoli and even Carter. They’ve said they won’t trade Kopi Or Doughty. Brown, Quick would be hard to deal with their contracts and everyone else is young. I just think being that they have so many up and comers they may keep some of the vets around to help that transition. They won’t just give guys away for say a 6th unless they know for a fact that guy is not or does not wanna be back.
