Dubois rumours
Just going to break this down as gently as possible, with zero intention of being rude...
-WIN get one of the best 2nd goalies in the league (He'll be 32 when the season starts, and has been below league average 4 of the past 5 seasons)
-Dvorak to provide them with a 2nd centerman (Do we reallllly think he's still a 2C, or is he just a 3C that can play up a bit *IF* needed?)
-Armia who’s a great leader and provides offense (Citing leadership and offence when a guy just put up 14 pts in 60 games for a team that went from being pretty good to really bad seems weird...)
-Pezzetta who’s a good depth player (Pezzatta is a dime a dozen 13th forward/waiver candidate)
-Brooks to provide depth between AHL and NHL (Brook is a 23 year old who played a total of 19 games this year, including 13 in the ECHL. To say that he's ready to play in the NHL is a bittttt weird)
-and 3 picks, including a first round (Late 1st, late 2nd, late 3rd =Quantity)

Same goal Different Strategy
Georgievs record is far from impressive, and treating Asplund like a toss in is silly. Asplund is an important player for the Sabres and is one of their best defensive forwards, they won't deal him for a goalie who wasn't much better than the 6 others they had to play this past season. Asplund is more valuable to Buffalo than to another team.

Easy decline from the sabres. "Georgiev's record as a starter is very impressive" but his stats aren't.

We have to trade Danault and Tatar
I think Danault to WPG for #10 makes more sense, assuming Lundell is gone by then. They don't have anyone else coming to take the 2C spot unlike Cozens in Buffalo.

Keeping markstrom at all cost
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bond007</b></div><div>As a Sabres fan, I don't see Adams doing any big trades as a rookie GM in one of the most complicated off season ever. Sutter might not be the second line centre that Buffalo fans expect but I still think that he can produces well and eats some minutes to allow Cozens to develop on the 3rd line with Gaudette as another option at centre, its a cheap low risk mid rewards that doesn't cost a huge assets for Buffalo and allow them to have flexibility and sign both Dahlin and Jokiharju next season without any problem and not risking loosing much in the expension draft. Also, Sutter is the kind of guy that Kruger loves and can be a good leader in the locker room.</div></div>
Maybe.

I don’t think Buffalo can afford Sutter. They have a lot of RFA’s and it’s been reported they want to be under the cap. But I would love the idea of Gaudette.

Were still doing Eichel trades
Buffalo declines. I think Minnesota just doesn't have chips to qualify for Eichel. We are overcrowded on the RDs and we will need centers in return for Eichel, Boldy is not such an attractive prospect.

Trying
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jcash08</b></div><div>I don't see Montour and a third for Hanifin working, Hanifin is three years younger for a start. Also i don't see Josh Anderson fitting in on the top line to help the Sabres in that manner.
Buffalo could really use some secondary scoring help, and character guys built to win. Strong penalty killers and good dressing rom guys to help them establish a culture.</div></div>
Anderson scored 27 goals in 18-19 I think he can play with Eichel. Also Jack takes some big hits because he gets 3 guys on him when he gets the puck maybe Anderson can help with opening more space.

Sabres have too many Left wingers. Along with having a horrible prospect pool. I don’t think it’s worth it for two years of Gaudreau.

Its been done a million times, detroit wont trade him because hes a local boy thats pretty good at hockey. Itd start with Cozens Jokiharju and 8OA to start getting them to think about it

Jokiharju
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aadoyle</b></div><div>Jokiharju aint even close to Sandin's level. Sandin is younger, and has more upside.
If a team inquired on Sandin the asking price would be a very good top 4 RHD like Parayko. But in general Sandin is one of those defenseman u dont trade as he was a steal of his draft class.
In general Joki would have less value in a trade vs Sandin. Both have potential, but with his accomplishments, and the fact he is being considered a steal, Sandin is off the books for toronto. But with the gm changes and the fact buffalo is gonna go through another rebuild I have a feeling Dahlin and Eichel will be the only safe players.</div></div>
You might want to actually look up Joki and his accomplishments before saying these things. Same draft position (29) similar numbers in every league, and both considered steals at their draft. Upside is about the same, and they’re one year apart, it’s not like they’re 4/5 years age difference.

I believe it's for Hossa but still, this trade doesn't make sense.
ARI keeps Hossa so they can use LTIR and stay cap compliant, he isn't a problem. Lyubushkin is a correct #6 D and better to keep that 2nd instead.
Damn gotta love having Thornton on 1st line in 2020
