Eichel to Boston
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>At the end of the day it comes down to what you define as (insert role here). To me a true #1C is a 65+ point player. I don't know that Studnicka can be a consistent 65+ point player. I hope he does, that would be fantastic, but I'm more comfortable saying his upside is a #2C. As for Zboril again depends on what you define as a top 4 d-man. He has the tools, just lacks consistency. I'm not sure I'd say Studnicka/Zboril are "great prospects" but again it all depends on what your definition of great is.</div></div>
Definitely agree. I'm just trying to figure out how much the Bruins would give up and something that could work for the Sabres. This was just for fun. I cant see Buffalo trading Eichel at all.

Would you trade Pastrnak for such a package? I think not. Eichel is our best player and a very good 1C with a six-year contract.</div></div>
I don't see the Sabres trading Eichel at all. Just doing this for fun

Jumping on the Rumor Train
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sagecoll</b></div><div>Right I think he's capable of that too. But that basically makes him Chris Kreider or a poor man's Landeskog at his peak. a nice 2way 50-60ish pts, with most of that being goals winger. Whereas Gaudreau is already offensively peak Marchand at only 3 years older than Debrusk. It's an entirely different tier of player, and as you get up to that tier, the cost grows exponentially. And the difference in cost is worth welll over a late 1st,</div></div>
I agree with you for sure. I just believe Studnicka is a great piece for the future. I would see Vaak working better in my opinion just because people in Boston are pretty high on Stud including me.

Eichel to Boston
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>As a Bruins fan, I don't see why Buffalo would take that.
Krejci - Pending UFA after next year and while still a very good #2C, he's 34yr old.
Studnicka - Solid prospect that looks like he could be a #2C in the future. 200ft player can play in all situation, a good piece
Zboril - I'm not as high on Zboril as others. He's up and down and lacks consistency. Has the tools to be a top 4 d-man, but against struggles with consistency
The picks are more than likely late round picks and while valuable, not ideal for trading a young high end franchise centerman.</div></div>
It depends on what you think of the prospects. I believe Studnicka could be a 1st line center, but that may be a bit optimistic. Zboril I have also liked and think he will be a really solid top 4 d. As for Krejci, I understand why he may not be the best piece going back, but if your getting two great prospects (imo) he can work in the short term.

It really depends on how you look at the prospects. Studnicka could be a great top 6 center, has the potential to be a first liner. As for Zboril, it was him or Vaak, just went with Zboril. I think he could be a top 4 d.

Just curious, what other work XD. Jake is my favorite player so maybe a bit. But to be completely honest, he can easily be a 30 goal scorer. He came close last season, and this year was just a bit inconsistent. If he brings some consistency to his game, he will brake the 30 goal mark for sure.

Na that makes sense. I would do that, but I wouldn't trade Debrusk and stud cause that's to much. But Studnicka is a center man

And start adding? Are you serious? Debrusk is young, has a great chance to be a 30 goal scorer, stundicka made the AHL all rookie team, and is gonna be a top 6 center. And giving up another first doesn't make a ton of sense for Boston.

Even though I love Makar, so far, I think Pettersson goes 1st.
Cal Foote does not move up
Mittelstadt moves way down for sure. Although I still think he has potential, he hasn't shown any signs of him excelling at the NHL level
POJ moves down, Ottinger does not move up that much, and I still think Bruins draft Vaak. He will be a great top 4 d for us in the future

Krug has said multiple times that he doesn't want to leave Boston and that he "hopes he has not played his last game in a bruins uniform". He will be back in Boston 95%, and for us to give up a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, for sergechev over krug, doesn't make any sense. Remember we gave up our first this year and in 2018 so it looks like we will be keeping our pick for next year.

I like pretty much everything you said except a few things. First, I think Fredrick will go 3c and Kuraly will stay 4c. Kuraly was the perfect 4th line center and we don't want to ruin a prospect by putting him on the 4th line. Also I think its unfair that you said Mcavoy needs a reality check. Bergeron's contract was signed many years back and we can use as players contract values have gone up tremendously. I think its fair to say Mcavoy will be in around 7.2mil.

Edmonton deal isn’t bad, I don’t think they take that though, their forward depth is garbage after the first line
JFK is not playing in Boston next year
If they did do the nuge deal, he would be C3 and coyle would be RW2
Your 4th line is all messed up</div></div>
Nordstrom should be ahead of Kuhlman.
Oilers drafting forward this year, Jesse could try to jump in, D is a bigger need then forwards for them.
Heard JFK could be going to Europe. If he does, Fredrick or Studnicka step in to the 3rd line center spot.
If they did make the Nuge deal, Nuge would not be 3c. Whole point is to pick up a top 6 winger and Nuge would be that guy. Potentially if Studnicka or Fredrick don't step into the lineup, Coyle plays 3C

I dont think the Bruins are short one forward. Thats how their fourth line was last year and it was one of the best 4th lines in Hockey.
