Description
This is all fun, and even as a Bruins fan I wouldn't love to do this deal, just because we would not have a 1st for 3 years in a row, but that's what it would take imo.

Not attractive, I think there are teams that will make the offer better. Krejci is already 34 years old, he has NTC and the last year of the contract. a couple of late first and two not bad prospects.

As a Bruins fan, I don't see why Buffalo would take that.

Krejci - Pending UFA after next year and while still a very good #2C, he's 34yr old.
Studnicka - Solid prospect that looks like he could be a #2C in the future. 200ft player can play in all situation, a good piece
Zboril - I'm not as high on Zboril as others. He's up and down and lacks consistency. Has the tools to be a top 4 d-man, but against struggles with consistency

The picks are more than likely late round picks and while valuable, not ideal for trading a young high end franchise centerman.

Not enough there for the Sabres. Buffalo passes quickly on this.

It really depends on how you look at the prospects. Studnicka could be a great top 6 center, has the potential to be a first liner. As for Zboril, it was him or Vaak, just went with Zboril. I think he could be a top 4 d.

It depends on what you think of the prospects. I believe Studnicka could be a 1st line center, but that may be a bit optimistic. Zboril I have also liked and think he will be a really solid top 4 d. As for Krejci, I understand why he may not be the best piece going back, but if your getting two great prospects (imo) he can work in the short term.

Studnicka is ok, he really seems to be a solid prospect, but here we hardly need the prospects of LD, maybe only if it's some kind of Byram. Would you trade Pastrnak for such a package? I think not. Eichel is our best player and a very good 1C with a six-year contract.

At the end of the day it comes down to what you define as (insert role here). To me a true #1C is a 65+ point player. I don't know that Studnicka can be a consistent 65+ point player. I hope he does, that would be fantastic, but I'm more comfortable saying his upside is a #2C. As for Zboril again depends on what you define as a top 4 d-man. He has the tools, just lacks consistency. I'm not sure I'd say Studnicka/Zboril are "great prospects" but again it all depends on what your definition of great is.

laugh laugh An aging David Krejci with one year left as the main piece, Isn't getting you Jack Eichel. That's a pretty meh return for Eichel and Botterill blocks Sweeney's number.

Definitely stud and picks in the deal but you'd have to send something else of value. Coyle is more attractive than krejci age and contract wise. They'd want pasta or macavoy and Boston wouldn't move them.

Bs don’t have a lot of RHD prospects. Clifton stays and he’s under contract control for awhile. Buffalo is just going to demand a truck load just to even start talks. It would have to start with Studnicka and DeBrusk.

I don't see the Sabres trading Eichel at all. Just doing this for fun

Definitely agree. I'm just trying to figure out how much the Bruins would give up and something that could work for the Sabres. This was just for fun. I cant see Buffalo trading Eichel at all.

The only way I see Boston having BUF attention in trading Eichel is to dangle Pasta
